Stress is a common issue for nurses, with the NHS and social care creaking under severe shortages and workload pressures. In the 2022 NHS staff survey, nearly 45% of respondents reported having felt unwell as a result of work-related stress, while almost 68% of those who took part in the 2021 RCN Employment survey said they felt under too much pressure at work.
